MEET THE OWNER

Welcome! I am so thrilled you are here! 

My names is Sara Solomon, and I am the owner of The Blonde Balloon & The Fashioned Fete. I was born and raised in South Florida, and although I left a few times, I have always found my way back home. I was born to be a creative - your theatre kid in high school here - and love any form of an outlet for that I can find. I went to school for vocal performance, and then after college, took a wild turn and became a stenographer. I started The Blonde Balloon as a side business in 2017, and it quickly grew into a second full-time job. When I had my first son, I knew I had to choose between the two careers, and The Blonde Balloon allowed me the creative freedom I crave, plus the flexibility I knew I wanted as a new mom, and I knew I could not give it up. Through The Blonde Balloon, I grew a deep love for all assets of events and the small details of one that is done well. Although I love all forms of life events, my love for kids' events definitely runs deep. I love the depth of detail that a kids' theme allows you to go to.  

 

I am a mom of two boys, and they are my light and joy and everything I live and work for. They are what rooted my love for kids' events, and I adore celebrating them and extending those ideas into my clients' lives and celebrations when I can. 

 

I truly love creating  for every one of my events in every capacity. I enjoy the different process that planning takes on for each of my clients, and how that process always seems to create a bond between us, and in the end, a true relationship.
